About the leaders

Shoshana Treichel and Nrithya Jagannathan are collaborating to create and lead this awesome and heart-felt program for you!

Shoshana has studied extensively at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in Chennai, India, learning the teachings of TKV Desikachar , son of T. Krishnamacharya who is recognized as one of the greatest masters of the last century and top authority in the field of yoga.

Nrithya Jagannathan is a Senior Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapy Consultant at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram with over 18 years of experience. She is also the Director of Yoga Studies and the Department of Healing Chants and has studied under the renowned yoga master Sri TKV Desikachar as well as other senior teachers from the KYM tradition. Nrithya teaches classes on Yoga Philosophy, Vedic Chanting, Indian Culture, Application of Yoga, and other allied subjects for both Indian and International students.

Together, Shoshana and Nrithya strive to create an unforgettable experience, through which we can grow, heal, and transform. They are passionate about teaching and embodying yoga in a way that honors the rich and ancient teachings of the Krishnamacharya lineage.

*KYM asana practice is based on the Krishnamacharya lineage focusing on breath and postures. Each class emphasizes a peak posture set to traditional music. Energizing and fun, this practice appeals to anyone that appreciates a healthy sweat.
