Traditional Hot 26/2

A traditional Bikram method class that consists of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises designed to systematically move freshly oxygenated blood to 100% of your body, to each organ and fiber, inside out, bones to skin, fingertips to toes. This process restores all systems to healthy working order, just as nature intended. Proper weight, muscle tone, vibrant good health, reduced stress, and a general sense of well-being are just a few of the benefits one receives from a regular practice.

The class is 90 minutes, in a room heated to approximately 102*F with 40% humidity. Each of the 26 postures are within a normal range of motion, and the heated room loosens your muscles and joints in order to increase flexibility and gain strength.  Simultaneously, as your body adjusts to the heat, so does your mind.  An amplified sense of focus is the result, and gives way for the effective moving meditation. This class is ideal for the absolute beginner and still challenging for the seasoned athlete.
