ABOUT THE RETREAT
This summer, join Shoshana Treichel and Josh Blatter for an opportunity to create health, happiness and healing through the practice of yoga and meditation as expounded by the teachings of T. Krishnamacharya. We could not be more excited to bring together our combined decades of experience with you in this one week escape into the serenity of the Casa Om. We have crafted and polished a program of daily yoga, meditation, conversation and chant to both inspire and invigorate. Whether you are a long time practitioner, yoga teacher or absolutely brand new, this retreat is for you.
The yoga practices will be a combination of hatha, vinyasa, bikram and therapeutics. We want to give you a variety of tools to release tension present in the body and cultivate the space for healing. The meditations will be primarily breath-awareness based with plenty of explanation on technique. We want this to be something you can take back with you when the week is over. Conversations will be on the topics of body and health, the importance of breath, the nature of mind and developing a home practice. Chant will be an option for those interested and we will work with some of the very classical verses on healing from the Veda(s).
What we want more than anything is to create the space for you to feel good physically and be at peace mentally. That is what this retreat has to offer and we hope to see you there.
